This is a poem I wrote recently. It's not really directed towards anyone in particular, though there's one person it could possibly apply to. I have the feeling that if I hadn't written it on the internet first, I'd never have shared it. It's kind of bad, but... Yeah.

How much I want you to like me

How much I want to see you smile

How much I love you

How dear you are to me

How lonely I am without you
I'll never say
How happy you make me
I'll never say
What a coward I am.

You'll never see
How much I want to hold you close
You'll never see
How much I want you to stay near
You'll never see
How wonderful I think you are
You'll never see
What a coward I am.

I'll never show
How sad I am when you're gone
I'll never show
How you brighten my day
I'll never show
How sad I'd be if you left me
