Djilia Fralengo

There's this band called Djilia Fralengo. The name is Gypsy language for something or another. They've got two released CDs that I know of, Oracle and belomancy. Belomancy is more acoustic, while Oracle has electric guitars. Belomancy is pretty much my favourite CD ever at the moment. I just realised that it is incredibly conducive to deep thought and absorption when I am reading something.

I was reading this: http://www.squidi.net/2005/blog05.10.php#05.10.09 Basically, the author is saying how he could write a story set in the MMORPG World of Warcraft that would basically have one character transcending all evilness anyone's done in WoW or other MMORPGs so far, but he didn't dare to give an idea of what that would be, because he was afraid someone would go out and do it. Shoo. Go read the nice blog entry. Then come back and read more of my blog entry.

Right. I was listening to Djilia Phralengo at the time; still am, in fact. I thought, "I could write a story like that. It wouldn't be set in WoW, but I could do it." I really might. Hmm...

Fantasy
Switch between players and characters
Villain -who? male or female? nerdy, preppy, popular, goth, what? nerdy too stereotypical. popular unexpected. preppy interesting, but can I write that? come back later
Victims - average gamers, pretty ST, at least one female
Scheme - villain gains their trust, they get up high, stay together, villain starts culty thing against one or more other factions, JIHAD, focus on victims and evil group both, villain turns on friends?
